Spotlight on Rosehips – also known as – Rosa canina. Red Rose. Hipberry. Dogrose.
Rosa petals and hips (fruit) have been cherished for their properties since the beginning of written history. In all its forms – rose syrup, rose honey, rose wine, rose vinegar, rose jelly and rose oil – rose preparations are employed medicinally and cosmetically throughout the world. The hips contain Vitamin C and Iron along with many other nutrients and are therefore a valuable component of Childrens Tea.
