Method: Place one teaspoon of herb in an infuser, teapot
or plunger. Add water which has just come off the boil
and steep for 15 minutes before serving. Can be taken
with a little honey or lemon.

Hawthorn Berry – Holds a revered place in traditional medicine as a Cardiotonic. Aids in normalising blood pressure by regulating heart action. Supports heart muscle weakened by age. Useful for shortness of breath,insomnia due to high blood pressure.
Oats Straw – Antispasmodic. Nutritive tonic restoring and supporting heart and brain. Aids debility and recovery. Good for convalescents with a sensitive digestion. Nervine. Useful after pregnancy as a tonic.
Yerba Mate – Takes the load of the heart increasing oxygen rich blood and energy. Protective and preventative. Good for those who are physically weak on exertion, breathless, puffy and puffing.
Motherwort Herb – Calminative. Good for the nervous heart
and neuralgias. Astringent properties are helpful for a congested
chest cavity causing shortness of breath. Useful in stomach gas and cramps. Cardiotonic.Ginko Leaf – Vasodilatory effects increasing fresh blood flow to the extremities, including the head. Relieves vascular constriction and promotes peripheral circulation allowing oxygenated blood to reach the tissues.
