The health benefits of quality green tea from Japan are widely known. Sencha is a true green tea with a refined taste, infused with a hint of ginger. High in antioxidants and good for digestion and circulation.
Take care in preparation.

Method: Place one small teaspoon of herb into an infuser, teapot or plunger. Add water which has come well off the boil as these leaves are fragile and easily burned! Steep for a short period before serving, about two minutes. Leaves may be reused. Delicious served as iced tea. Prepare the same way, allow to cool, then pour over ice

The Japanese sencha infusion is a beautiful green with a sweet flavour and aroma. True green tea is renowned for being high in anti-oxidants and having a positive effect on the five vital organs.

The smaller leaves are chosen for their refined taste - picked fresh and steamed before drying. The steaming renders the leaves immune to oxidation. Leaves are then rolled, resembling spiders' legs.
