Spotlight on Raspberry Leaves - also known as – Hindberry. Garden bramble. Raspbis. Red raspberry.
A member of the Rosaceae family which also includes apple, rose, almond and strawberry.
Raspberry leaves have been in traditional use for 2000 years. They are widely recognised as having a beneficial effect on the musculature and lining of the uterus – toning and tightening the ligaments.
The leaves contain folic acid and Vitamin C and a daily cup is considered supportive during pregnancy, often removing the tendancy toward morning sickness.
Raspberry leaves are also useful for prolapse due to aging or multiple births.
