The blending of Licorice and Fennel result in a beautiful tea with a delicious, aniseed taste. The palate is left refreshed from peppermint undertones. A classic tea based on Dr Randolph Stone's famous formula, reputedly clearing and balancing energy channels throughout the body.

Method: Place two teaspoons of herb into an infuser, teapot or plunger. Add water which has just come off the boil and steep for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Hildegard of Bingen, the famous German abbess and herbalist, recommends fennel for the heart and the respiratory and ‘to make us happy, with good digestion and good body odour’ – well we all want that – don’t we? Fennel has been used traditionally throughout the ages for digestion and liver support.

Commonly known as the slimmers herb due to its ability to encourage fat and glucose metabolism. Renowned for its mild oestrogenic effects, balancing hormones for both men and women.

Fennel has feathery leaves and tall stalks topped by umbrella-like flowers and has a light anise - licorice flavor and aroma.
