Historical and Traditional Perspective
Spotlight on Sencha Green Tea – also known as – Camellia. Spiders legs.
The Japanese sencha infusion is a beautiful green with a sweet flavor and aroma. True green tea is renowned for being high in anti-oxidants and having a positive effect on the five vital organs.
The smaller leaves are chosen for their refined taste - picked fresh and steamed before drying. The steaming renders the leaves immune to oxidation. Leaves are then rolled, resembling spiders legs.
