Certified Organic Soluble dietary fibre beneficial for the gastro-intestinal tract. Cleansing: ‘the colon broom’ – clears undigested food and caked on built up wastes. Toning: Bulking action pushes bowel walls into shape and stimulates peristaltic movement. Absorbing: swells inside the colon absorbing fats and aiding the elimination of cholesterol. Softening: Softens faeces and soothes damaged or inflammed mucous membranes. Can assist in the treatment of colitis, fissures, ulcers, haemorrhoids, constipation or diarrhoea.

Psyllium seed husks, also known as ispaghula, isabgol, or psyllium, are portions of the seeds of the plant Plantago ovata, (genus Plantago), a native of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. They are hygroscopic, which allows them to expand and become mucilaginous.
This powder can be taken by adding one teaspoon to water or juice and stirring briskly, although it may not dissolve. Alternatively it can be mixed with food such as yoghurt, honey, custard or banana, or sprinkled over breakfast cereal.
Naturally Gluten Free. Contains NO ADDITIVES.
