4 Herb Formula – Essiac Blend
Organic and wildharvested herbal tea traditionally used to support detoxification, immune health, and overall vitality.
This classic four herb formula is inspired by traditional preparations associated with the Canadian Ojibwa people and later popularised as Essiac. Combining herbs known for their cleansing and restorative properties, this blend is designed to support the body’s natural detoxification pathways and overall wellbeing. Suitable for both infusion and traditional decoction methods.
Made in Australia using a combination of imported and locally sourced organic herbs.
Flavour Profile
A deep, earthy infusion with pronounced bitter and astringent notes. Burdock and rhubarb provide a robust, grounding base, while sheep sorrel adds a slightly tangy edge. Slippery elm softens the blend. Strong, herbal, and distinctly cleansing.

What Others Think About This Product...
Herbs to fine & too small, even through a fine mesh tea strainer. Felt gritty to drink & got stuck in your throat. Didn't feel any benefits from this tea. I had to use More to even taste the tea. I didn't like or enjoy this tea & too expensive.
Hi Kim,
Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Also thank you for supporting Wildcraft.
Our 4 Herb Tea is intentionally blended using finely cut powders such as Slippery Elm powder and Turkish rhubarb root powder to support maximum extraction and absorption of the herbs’ beneficial compounds. Because of this, the texture can be different from a traditional leaf tea and may feel more earthy or sediment-rich, even when strained.
For a smoother experience, some customers prefer to let the tea settle before drinking or strain it through a cloth filter.
Slippery elm is a premium and increasingly scarce herb, which does contribute to the overall cost of the blend, but we prioritise quality and potency in our formulations.
We truly value your feedback and will take it on board as we continue to refine both our products and customer experience.
