Organic Slippery Elm Bark powder is a highly nutritious dietary additive to porridge, breakfast cereals or smoothies.It contains calcium compounds that are easily assimilated and ideal for the growing bones and teeth of children, or the frail and depleted bones of the aged.Slippery Elm contributes mucilage to the intestines making it a therapeutic soothing supplement for conditions such as diarrhoea, wind, bloating, sore raw mucous membranes and ulcerations, gently calming a distressed digestive tract. Seemed to work in reducing the size of an epidermoid cyst on my back when applied two times a day with a bandage for a week. Didn't get rid of it, but seemed to shrink and be less of a concern. Nice quality ointment.
